Communication objectives
- Provide the Minister, the Parliament and the people of Queensland with an accurate and informative report about the operations of the Department of Industrial Relations during 2005-06.
- Inform readers about current and emerging issues that affect the operations of the department and explain how the department is responding to those issues.
- Publish a statistical record about the department’s performance and provide other relevant statistics.
- Explain how the department operates - its structure, its governance and its organisational capability.
- Comply with legislative obligations and government policies for performance reporting - including the requirements of the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1997 and the Financial Management Standard 1997 (PDF, 693 KB).
