Queensland Electrical Equipment Approval Certificates

Electrical equipment and appliances sold in Queensland must comply with the Electrical Safety Act 2002 and the Electrical Safety Regulation 2002. The Electrical Safety Office (ESO) administers a Queensland electrical equipment approval scheme. Other Australian states and territories administer electrical equipment approval schemes in their jurisdiction. You may need to contact these other states and territories for confirmation of any approval number starting with a letter other than ‘Q’.
