8.6 Particular circumstances
Despite the earlier provisions-where plant or equipment consists of a vehicle, possibly including an attached trailer-the plant or equipment may be driven under an overhead electric line while in transport mode only under the following circumstances:
- The plant or equipment has a fully-enclosed driver’s cabin;
- The driver remains completely within the cabin;
- A clearance between the plant or equipment not exceeding those in Table 8.1 or in Appendix B is maintained at all times;
- No other person is in or on the plant or equipment or in contact with the plant or equipment or at risk of encroaching within the exclusion zone of the live exposed parts of the plant or equipment.
