8.3 Hazard identification
Hazards for agricultural work near exposed live parts relate mainly to live overhead electric lines when people are:
- working near and in the process may come into contact with signs, scaffolding or machinery such as augers and elevating work platforms near electric lines;
- moving or rearranging long aluminium irrigation pipes; or
- driving machinery with tall metal attachments through paddocks where electric lines exist.
