9.3 What is a high load?
There are four categories of high load. The categories of high load are detailed in Table 9.1.

Category 1 (Height of 4.6m or less) – Transport can be carried out without any notification.
Category 2, 3, 4 – notification must be forwarded to the network owner.
Notification about transport a high load should contain the following:
- Dimensions of the load. The maximum travel height of the load should be determined by combining the height of the object and the vehicle used for transportation. If unable to predetermine the exact measurement, the worst possible scenario should be used for scoping or assessing purposes.
- Route specification.
- Time or times during which transport is required to take place.
- Details of the service provider responsible for facilitating the transport of the high load and providing safety precautions.
