9.5 Travel requirements

The travel requirements for the three categories of high loads are detailed in Table 9.2.

  • Notification is mandatory.
  • The route shall be scoped/assessed by a qualified person taking into account the network owner advice about the network including information in the notification and any safety precautions advised by the network owner.
  • Generally no escorting will be required, depending on the outcome of scoping/assessment.

  • The route should be scoped/assessed by a qualified person taking into account the network owner advice about the network including information in the notification and any safety precautions advised by the network owner.
  • An escort may be required in accordance with the local network owner requirements or depending on outcome of scoping/assessment.
