Crommelins Machinery 240 volt portable generator

Electrical product safety recall

Identification

This generator was distributed by Crommelins machinery between 1984 and 1996 under the brand names Crommelins (Model 1210), Robin (Models R1200 and R1210), Subaru (Models R1200), Dunlite (ModelD1210), and was also distributed and sold by Nissan Motor under the brand name Nissan (Model GL 1200).

Affected units may carry on the fuel tank a label bearing a production number beginning with RG012.

Safety issue

Improper use of the external plug used with the generators external 12 volt charging socket may allow the plug to be inserted into a 240 volt a.c. outlet with the risk of electrocution.

Action required

Cease using the generator and respective battery leads and contact Crommelins Machinery to arrange a modification.
