IMPORTANT CHANGES TO SKILLS MAINTENANCE - PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU CONTINUE

Please be aware that as of 29/09/2014 the Skills Maintenance has CHANGED.
Previously, the Skills Maintenance Assessment comprised of three (3) parts. Due to the legislative changes in January 2014, the Skills Maintenance has been amended and is now a two (2) part assessment.
If you have not previously commenced a Skills Maintenance Assessment for your upcoming renewal - the following information will not affect you therefore you may continue to register as a "new user".

If you have previously commenced a Skills Maintenance prior to 29/09/2014 please refer to the instructions below:

  1. If you have completed Part A or B prior to 29/09/2014, you will be required to re-register as a "new user" and complete Part B ONLY of the CURRENT Skills Maintenance Assessment; or
  2. If you have completed Part C ONLY prior to 29/09/2014, you will be required to re-register as a "new user" and complete Part A ONLY of the CURRENT Skills Maintenance Assessment; or
  3. If you have successfully completed Parts A and/or B as well as C prior to 29/09/2014, this information has been transferred to your licence record and pending receipt of your application for renewal and payment, your licence will be renewed. You can confirm renewal of your licence here.

The online system has been upgraded to remove Skills Maintenance records daily and transfer the information to the electrical licensing system.
