The purpose of this course package is to enable Queensland electrical workers to satisfy the skills maintenance requirements of worker licence renewal prescribed by the Electrical Safety Regulation 2002.
Registered Training Organisations also provide approved courses that satisfy skills maintenance requirements for licence renewal and may provide training material that is more comprehensive in that it is tailored specifically to a particular industry or category of electrical work licence.
This application is to ensure that electrical workers in rural and remote areas have ready access to skills maintenance courses in line with government licence renewal requirements.
