Pastoral Workers' Accommodation Regulation 2003
If accommodation must be provided under section 8, 9, 10 or 11 of the Pastoral Workers' Accommodation Act 1980 (PDF, 345 KB), the Pastoral Workers' Accommodation Regulation 2003 (PDF, 358 KB) provides for actual standards of accommodation that must be provided.
For example, the regulation requires that resident workers be provided with:
- sleeping accommodation
- kitchen accommodation
- dining accommodation
- refuse disposal facilities for kitchen and dining accommodation areas
- meat preparation facilities
- bathing accommodation
- toilet facilities
- laundry facilities
