Access to time and wages records

You are allowed to inspect your own time and wages records for the previous 12 months but access is limited to once a year and not during your working time, unless the employer consents otherwise.

Department of Justice and Attorney-General inspectors and industrial officers under the Industrial Relations Act 1999 (PDF, 1.9 MB) are entitled to access time and wages records anytime.

Further information is available regarding time and wages records requirements.
