Biological hazards and infectious diseases

Workers in many industries may be at risk of exposure to infectious diseases from contact with infected people and animals or from handling contaminated items such as used needles or syringes. Other hazards can include moulds, fungi, bacterial and viral contamination in the workplace that can lead to illnesses.

Chemicals and substances hazards
