Video criteria

The video content must:

include sound
be no more than six minutes long
address the key criteria advised in the scenario.

Technical information

provide the video file in one of the following formats: MPEG4 (M4V), MPEG1, MPEG2, MOV, WMV, FLV or AVI or submit on a DVD
standard definition should be used where possible (720 pixels) or a minimum of 320x240 pixels
the maximum file size permissible for upload via the website is 15 MB. To meet this criteria, we recommend video files are compressed into a ZIP file to reduce the file size. Larger files must be copied to disc or USB and posted.

Not an experienced film maker? Videos are judged by the quality of the action, not the production, so grab a camera, your crew and submit a film of your missing diver or snorkeler emergency response drill.

Any personal information you include in your submission is collected by the Department of Justice and Attorney-General for the purpose of judging entries in the Dive Safety Awards. All or parts of your submission, including photographs and footage may be made publicly available for promotional purposes which could include being published to the Workplace Health and Safety Queensland website.
