Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is auditing a sample of businesses involved in the metal products manufacturing industry from March until May 2008.
The audit is part of a nationwide campaign targeting risks associated with moving components of fixed plant. It includes presses, bandsaws, guillotines, cropping and other metal working machines used in the metal manufacturing industry.
