Audit campaign targets mobile items plant
Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is auditing businesses that use materials handling equipment, until June 2008.
The audit campaign is being conducted across all industry sectors and is targeting mobile items of plant designed to move goods, materials and equipment. It includes trolleys, pallet jacks and forklifts and excludes cranes and tractors.
Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is working with employers and workers to help lower the incidence of work-related injuries and fatalities by reducing risks associated with hazards in workplaces.
