Workplace Health and Safety Student Program
Welcome to ‘Safety Sense’, an innovative on-line workplace health and safety program for secondary students in years 10, 11 and 12.

The Department of Industrial Relation’s Workplace Health and Safety has developed Safety Sense to give you the chance to explore workplace health and safety on the net.

Considering 25% percent of all work-related injuries in Queensland are in the 15 to 24 age group, safety makes sense.

The program has valuable messages that could make a difference to your future.

An understanding of basic workplace health and safety issues means you can protect yourself against workplace hazards. The program is packed with valuable health and safety information designed to help you work safely.

The first step towards a safer and healthier future starts here!

Safety Sense - the education program that makes sense of safety
