Cattle crushes

The beef cattle industry has advanced greatly in the past few years. The industry has seen increases in the price of cattle while many producers have value-added their herds through the use of varied scientific advancements.

However, the industry is currently experiencing a shortage of skilled labour and a high rate of injury to workers. This is due to the hands-on nature of the cattle industry where contact with animals is one of the most significant contributors to the injury of workers in rural communities.

The selection of cattle handling devices such as a cattle crush can greatly improve the safety of cattle and their handlers.

Locating cattle handling devices in areas of shade will reduce the potential for heat stress and make the work conditions more comfortable for the handler.
