Free electrical safety forums – working with or near live electrical parts

The Electrical Safety Office is hosting a series of electrical safety forums in February and March 2009 for electrical workers, safety managers and their employers to learn about and discuss the need to work safely with and around electricity.

The forums are an opportunity for all those associated with the electrical industry to recognise the risks and identify the solutions for working around live electrical parts.

These facilitated forums will introduce you to the legal requirements discuss practical ways for safe electrical work including:

The forums will also allow you to discuss issues relevant to you, learn from others and have your say on electrical safety in Queensland.

Who should attend?

These forums will be of interest to anyone who performs, supervises or manages electrical work including people in control of facilities where electrical work is performed.

All forums will start at 8.30 am and be one and a half hours in duration.
