Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) monitors the workers compensation performance of public sector agencies through the Safer and Healthier Workplaces 2007-12 (PDF, 106kB) framework.
This public sector initiative has been in place since 2004 and assists agencies by giving advice and direction on strategies for whole-of-government improvement in workplace health and safety standards.
This initiative complements the Toward Q2 objectives, the National OHS Strategy 2002–2012 and Zero Harm at Work.
