Regional Government Agency Network (ReGAN) forums

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) engages government agencies, both centrally and regionally, through the ReGAN forums. The ReGANs are an important avenue of informing government departments about workplace health and safety, workplace absence, rehabilitation and injury management practices and initiatives.

The forums are attended by safety officers and representatives, rehabilitation and return to work coordinators, human resource officers and persons with injury management responsibilities from the Queensland public sector and local government. Representatives from QComp, QSuper and WorkCover also provide information at the forums.

ReGANs are held in Brisbane and throughout the following regional locations in Queensland every three months:

• Brisbane North (various locations)
• Sunshine Coast (various locations)
• Gold Coast (various locations)
• South West (Toowoomba/Ipswich)
• Brisbane South/Logan
• Wide Bay (Bundaberg/Maryborough)
• Rockhampton
• Mackay Townsville
• Cairns
