Employer occupational licensing seminars 2008
A series of seminars was conducted from February to April 2008 providing information about changes to training, assessment and licensing requirements specifically for business owners, workplace training coordinators and supervisors.
Targeted inspections will take place in 2008 to check workplace compliance and ensure licence holders continue to hold the necessary competency to carry out work safely. The inspections will also ensure that employers are not encouraging workers to carry out work unsafely.
