Christopher Meadows - Westside Christian College
Principal of Westside Christian College, Christopher Meadows, has gone above and beyond his duties as Principal by voluntarily providing safety advice, training, seminars, auditing processes, safety alerts and safety systems to schools across Queensland.
Christopher developed the SAFE Health and Safety Management System for Queensland Christian schools which consists of electronic forms, audit checklists for health and safety procedures and a safety education program for primary school students.
Christopher has spent countless hours travelling to rural and remote areas to introduce schools to the system. He has also undergone further workplace health and safety training including a Graduate Certificate in Risk Management at Queensland University of Technology and has travelled oversees to study the health and safety of school students.
Chris volunteers much of his time sharing his knowledge and giving health and safety advice and personal learning to schools across the state.
Christopher has been instrumental in changing the culture of health and safety management in Christian Schools.
