Free small and medium sized business workshops
Managing for Safety - Tools and techniques

The Managing for Safety - Tools and techniques workshop is designed to give small to medium sized businesses further tools, skills and knowledge to assist them to manage health and safety at their own workplaces. It builds on the information presented in the Managing for Safety - Getting started workshop and provides additional tools, templates, techniques and information.

To attend this workshop you must have either:

  1. attended the Managing for Safety - Getting started workshop, or
  2. have an established health and safety management system or process in place at your workplace.

Workshop duration: 5 hours (free until December 2009)

This workshop utilises the Serious About Safe Business framework but expands on the content for each element of the simple safety management system. During the course you will:

All of these outcomes will enable you to build a customised health and safety management system that is specific to your workplace and integrated into all aspects of the running of your business.
