It's easy to enter the Queensland 2009 Work Safe Awards

The awards are open to most Queensland businesses*. You can enter as many categories as you like, but a separate entry must be received for each category.

Eligibility

Read the judging criteria for each category and decide which one suits your entry, ensuring that your organisationís achievement appropriately aligns with the category. Then follow the steps below:

  1. Write your submission and address each assessment criteria for the category you are entering. Keep your responses brief (about 250 words, or half a typed page for each criteria is ideal).
  2. Complete the entry form (online or printed) including a brief summary of your entry.
  3. Look at the entry checklist and ensure you have completed each of the items.
  4. Include any information that has been requested in the criteria and anything you think may clarify your entry to the judges (e.g. photos, CD ROM or DVD). Photos may be submitted printed or electronically.

Remember, for hard copy entries

- submit three copies of your entry, one of which is unbound and A4 size
- do not supply entries in plastic pockets
- keep a copy for your records, as entries will not be returned.

Your completed submission, entry form, checklist and any other supporting material must be received by 5.00pm on Friday 31 July 2009.

Entries can be submitted online or in hard copy form.
