Assessment
There are three parts to an assessment/test that a person will need to pass in order to receive their certificate.
- Practical skills performance assessment
Tests applicants skills in inspection of equipment, fibre ropes, plan and prepare work, slinging techniques, load movement, signals and load placement
- Written assignment assessment
Evaluates the applicant's conceptual understanding of slinging techniques and crane usage
- Knowledge assessment
Tests applicant's knowledge of site hazards, cranes, lifting gear and slinging and moving loads
