Assessment
There are three parts to an assessment/test that a person will need to pass in order to receive their certificate.
- Practical skills performance assessment
Tests applicant's skills in the use of a safety harness, hung scaffold construction, hung scaffolding work practices, fixing flexible steel wire rope, inspection of chains
- Written assignment assessment
Evaluates the applicant's conceptual understanding of scaffold construction, his/her ability to apply simple mathematics and physics and ability to interpret technical specifications
- Knowledge assessment
Tests applicant's knowledge of hung scaffold requirements and suspended scaffold requirements
