Assessment
There are three parts to an assessment/test that a person will need to pass in order to receive their certificate.
- Practical skills performance assessment
Tests applicants skills in inspection of equipment, fibre ropes, scaffold construction, erection and dismantling skills, tie construction, scaffold inspection
- Written assignment assessment
Evaluates the applicant's conceptual understanding of scaffold construction, his/her ability to apply simple mathematics and physics, and ability to read and comprehend the English language
- Knowledge assessment
Tests applicants knowledge of certification, site hazards, tools and equipment for scaffolding, general scaffold requirements, particular scaffold requirements and associated equipment requirements
