Assessment
There are three parts to an assessment/test that a person will need to pass in order to receive their certificate.
- Practical skills performance assessment
Test applicants skills in measuring and marking, general scaffold construction, sloping platform construction, spur construction, use of compatible equipment, lashing of planks
- Written assignment assessment
Evaluates the applicant's conceptual understanding of scaffold construction, his/her ability to apply simple mathematics and physics and ability to prepare line drawings from technical specifications
- Knowledge assessment
Tests applicants knowledge of certification, tube-and-coupler scaffold specifications and particular scaffold requirements
